Portage, IN - The Portage Avenue Baptist Church, 6605 Portage Avenue, Portage, IN, today announces "Family Conference 2008" on Saturday February 23, 2008.
Strengthening Your Family will be the theme, as Pastor Rick Oliver and staff will teach the subjects of The Roles of the Husband, Wife, Children, Rules of Communication, Finances, and there are even sessions on teen dating, as well The Delight of Sex in marriage.
The day will begin with registration at the church at 7:30-7:50am, and the opening session at 7:50-8:00am. Each session will last around 45 minutes, with next session beginning at the top of the hour. There is no cost to these sessions. All sessions are free. There will be other materials and books on each of the subjects available for purchase.
The staff of the Portage Avenue Baptist Church includes Assistant Pastor Bob Blair, Intern Pastor Jeremy Oliver, and our teen club leader Paul Kelly. Each of these teachers will deliver powerful teaching in their subject from a biblical view.
